Beach Guidelines:
Dogs
may not use any part of the beach between 9 am and 8 pm between May 25 and September 15. Unleashed dogs are not allowed on the beach.

All dog waste must be picked up

25MPH maximum speed limit on Hills Beach Road

No motorized vehicles (ATV, dirt bike, SUV, car, truck, etc) allowed on beach, flats or dunes

Monday AM is trash pickup. Barrels with tight lids may be placed at roadside after 5 pm Sunday and retrieved by 7 pm Monday. Call Biddeford Public Works for information on disposal of appliances or large items.

Bonfire permits may be obtained at the Biddeford Fire Station on Alfred Street on day of use. Must be over 18 to apply. Fire must be in metal container and all debris from the burn removed from the beach.

Park in the Pines - Hours are dawn to dusk. No Parking, alcoholic beverages, or unleashed dogs. Vehicles may enter park to launch boats, canoes, etc.

Parking - Parking only on odd side of the street with cars facing in the direction of the traffic flow.

Renovation process - There are several steps necessary to get permits for renovation. The process varies depending on the scope of renovations and the zone where your property is located. Check with the Code officer at the Biddeford City Hall for the latest procedures to be followed or ask your contractor to make sure that this is done.
